We are Graham and Marion Whittley and we have been associated with SME Ltd of Steyning, Sussex since 1977. When we worked for SME we managed the assembly and service departments and the all important customer service side of the business.
Twelve years ago we started South West Analogue and we have developed into one of the UK`s foremost SME dealers. With well over 30 years of involvement with the company we are regarded as The SME Specialist.
As well as SME we are also representatives of Michell Engineering turntables. Our favourite cartridge is a UK modified version of the classic Denon DL-103. This is modified by the Expert Stylus and Cartridge Company and is fitted with their famous Sapphire cantilever and Paratrace stylus and is then called the Denon DL-103SP.
Valve amplification is by Icon Audio who produce an extensive range of excellent phono-stages, integrated and monoblock units to cover the whole price spectrum. We are also heavily involved with an exciting new moving coil only phono stage, more details of which can be found on this site.
Solid state phono-stages are catered for by the unique Graham Slee Projects amplifiers.
Audiophile Furniture Ltd manufacture a wide range of equipment racks and isolation platforms including the new "top of the range" Quattrabase. And we can also supply an attractive range of made to order solid wood supports.
In an effort to give our customers complete satisfaction we have a range of items that complement the SME turntables and tonearms. These include 5mm "Cast" acrylic lift-off turntable covers, Silver Litz and Silver plated Copper tonearm cables, Silver Litz interconnects and a Silver plated Copper mains cable which is fitted with Furutech connectors.
